Michael Etzensperger, (*1982 in Winterthur), lives and works in Zurich. From 2009-2012 he graduated in BA Fine Arts in Photography at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK). Since 2018 he is in the MA program at Institut Kunst, FHNW Basel. Etzensperger has shown his work in numerous solo and group Exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad including reGeneration3 (Musée d’Elysée (CH), Museo Amparo (MEX), Lishui Art Museum (CN)), Plat(t)form 14, Fotomuseum Winterthur (CH), Poznan Photo Diploma Award (PL), Kunstmuseum Winterthur (CH) or the Ravestijn Gallery (NL). In 2019 he will present his first institutional soloshow at Kunsthalle Winterthur. Etzenspergers work is held in the art collection Kanton Zurich, Kunstsammlung Zürcher Kantonalbank, Musée d’Elysee, Kunstmuseum Winterthur.
